Interlochen Arts Academy

Now that school has been present for more than a month I have to say that Interlochen is awesome. I have been making a lot of work and have been getting a lot of good advice too improve. I am going to start on this ten week project that will have the theme of human figure and motion juxtaposed in a triptich on canvas. I am so ready to develop my abstract sketches and make them into a concrete oil paintings. Also, I have begun a system of documentation of my work as it is developing so you can see the process and so I can understand what needs to be worked upon as I continue my works.

Interlochen, Michigan it is near Traverse City. It's where I reside for the school year now.

Hm. I always heard of the school and wondered if it was in florida. Thanks for clearing that up...but your front page says your home town is floridian. Do tell. I'm going to UF right now.

Well I lived my whole life up till now born and raised near Ft Lauderdale Florida and now after I applied and I am accepted at Interlochen Arts Academy an arts boarding highschool school in Northern Michigan I live here for 9 months out of the year for the next 2 years because I'm a junior. I am still a floridian because I am only hear for a couple of weeks so far and I will always vacation back to my home state.I guess when I start picking up the thick Michigan accent I will no longer be a floridian.

Aw, you'll always be a floridian. Just remember, while you're up north, drive slow and remark on things about how we do it down south. lol

omg, tell bernie I need her to call me!! ha ha. (Anytime's good)
College apps are scary. I don't like delving into those, and the counsellors at my school (pardon my french) couldnt give a rats ass what I do with my time.
I'm applying to MICA, Parsons, RISD, SVA, and a couple others, but those are my top choices. I'm really looking forward till I can start my life next year.
Hope you've been lucky to be working hard. I hope your roomie isnt annoying. Miss you!
